Guide for Submitting a Broadcast Application

In order to submit a broadcasting application electronically to Industry Canada, please address an email to DBCE-APPS@ic.gc.ca and attach the following supporting documentation:

• the appropriate application form obtained from http://www.ic.gc.ca/eic/site/smt-gst.nsf/eng/h_sf01700.html
• if required, the electronic brief, including any required maps, prepared in accordance with BPR 1 and any other relevant BPRs
• if required, contours (MapInfo - *.DAT/*.ID/*.MAP/*.TAB, or GIS – *.MIF/*.MID) (BPR-1, section 3.4)
• if required, the following forms as stipulated in relevant BPR
  • IC 3052A - Commitment Form
  • IC 2430 - Radiocommunication and Broadcasting Antenna Systems Attestation

It is the responsibility of the party submitting the application to ensure that all electronic documents submitted include the necessary signatures.
