SAB-001-08 — Moratorium on Fixed Services in the Bands 10.95–11.2 GHz, 11.45–11.7 GHz, 14.66–14.82 GHz and 15.135–15.295 GHz

Industry Canada will carry out public consultations on the bands 10.7–11.7 GHz and 14.5–15.35 GHz. In order to proceed with spectrum planning, a moratorium is being imposed effective immediately on the authorization of fixed service systems in the bands 10.95–11.2 GHz, 11.45–11.7 GHz, 14.66–14.82 GHz and 15.135–15.295 GHz. The moratorium will not affect existing fixed service licences. This licensing moratorium will remain in effect until the completion of the consultation process.
