Notice No. DGTP-001-09 - Extension to the Comment Period: Consultation Paper on the Possible Use of the Extended-Ku Spectrum Bands for Direct-to-Home (DTH) Satellite Broadcasting Services
The above-noted consultation paper was announced in the Canada Gazette on Saturday, January 10, 2009, as Notice DGTP-003-08. The deadline for the receipt of comments was March 13, 2009, with a deadline for receipt of reply comments of April 17, 2009.
The purpose of this notice is to advise all interested parties that, based on the merits of a request for additional time by the Radio Advisory Board of Canada, the deadline for the receipt of comments has been extended to April 17, 2009. The reply comment period has also been extended to May 25, 2009. All comments received will be posted on Industry Canada's Spectrum Management and Telecommunications Web site at http://www.ic.gc.ca/spectrum.
