Notice No. SMSE-009-10 — DC-01, Issue 4

Notice is hereby given that Industry Canada is releasing Issue 4 of DC-01; Procedure for Declaration of Conformity and Registration of Terminal Equipment.

Changes in the new issue include:

  • clarification of the registration process of terminal equipment with wireless interface, Section 5.2;
  • clarification of the concept of multiple listing, Sections 6.7; and
  • updates to Annex I (Declaration of Conformity and Registration Form) and Annex II (Checklist for Terminal Equipment Registration).

Issue 4 of DC-01 will come into effect upon publication of this notice.

Interested parties should submit their comments within 75 days of the date of publication of this notice. Shortly after the close of the comment period, all comments received will be posted on Industry Canada's Spectrum Management and Telecommunications website at http://ic.gc.ca/spectrum.

Submitting Comments

Respondents are requested to provide their comments in electronic format (WordPerfect, Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF) to the following e-mail address: telecom.reg@ic.gc.ca, along with a note specifying the software, version number and operating system used.

Written submissions should be addressed to the Director, Technical Regulation and Conformance, Industry Canada, 300 Slater Street, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0C8.

All submissions should cite Canada Gazette, Part I, the publication date, the title, and the notice reference number (SMSE-009-10).
