Figure 1: DGTP-002-10 Proposed Canadian Band Plan Options
This figure shows the two options for band plans proposed in the consultation paper. Both options are the same from 26.5 GHz to 28.35 GHz. In this range, both options show the spectrum from 26.5 GHz - 27.5 GHz as reserved and the spectrum from 27.5 GHz to 28.35 GHz as TDD with either 28x28 MHz channels, 17x50 MHz channels or 34x25 MHz channels. From 25.25-26.5 GHz, the first option shows 6x28 MHz FDD channels paired with another 6x28 MHz channels, with 28x28 MHz TDD channels in between them. The second option shows 15x28 MHz FDD channels paired with another 15x28 MHz channels, with 10x28 MHz channels in between them.
Figure 2: Summary of Band Plan Decisions for 25.25-28.35 GHz
This figure provides the new band plan for the band. From 25.25 - 26.5 GHz, there will be a mix of FDD and TDD fixed systems. The range 26.5 - 27.5 GHz will be subject to future review. Finally, from 27.5 - 28.35 GHz, there will be FDD and/or TDD fixed systems.
