Spectrum and Licensing Policy Provisions for the Band 1427-1525 MHz

This table provides the allocation status of different radio services within the frequency band 1427 to 1525 MHz. There are eight rows, and for each row in the table, the left column indicates the radio service and its status with the corresponding allocated sub-frequency band shown in the row. The row also contains additional information such as the specific permitted application under the radio service allocation.

  1. In the first row, the broadcasting service is allocated on a primary basis in the band 1452 to 1492 MHz, limited to digital radio broadcasting.
  2. In the second row, the broadcasting-satellite service is allocated on a primary basis in the band 1452 to 1492 MHz, limited to digital radio broadcasting.
  3. In the third row, narrowband multipoint communication systems are permitted in the bands 1427 to 1430 MHz and 1493.5 to 1496.5 MHz.
  4. In the fourth row, the fixed service is allocated on a primary basis in the bands 1427 to 1452 MHz and 1492 to 1517 MHz, limited to subscriber radio services.
  5. In the fifth row, the mobile service has a primary allocation in the bands 1427 to 1452 MHz and 1492 to 1525 MHz, with a mention of reserved.
  6. In the sixth row, the mobile-satellite service is allocated on a primary basis in the band 1515 to 1525 MHz.
  7. In the seventh row, the space operation service is allocated on a primary basis in the band 1427 to 1429 MHz.
  8. In the eighth row, the mobile service is allocated on a secondary basis in the band 1452 to 1492 MHz.

Spectrum and Licensing Policy Provisions for the Band 1990-2285 MHz

This table provides the allocation status of different radio services within the frequency band 1990 to 2285 MHz. There are eight rows, and for each row in the table, the left column indicates the radio service and its status with the corresponding allocated sub-frequency band shown in the row. The row also contains additional information such as the specific permitted application under the radio service allocation.

  1. In the first row, the fixed service is allocated on a primary basis in the bands 2025 to 2110 and 2200 to 2285 MHz.
  2. In the second row, the mobile service is allocated on a primary basis in the band 2110 to 2200 MHz.
  3. In the third row, the mobile-satellite service is allocated on a primary basis in the bands 1990 to 2025 MHz and the 2160 to 2200 MHz.
  4. In the fourth row, the space research is allocated on a primary basis in the bands 2025 to 2110 MHz and 2200 to 2285 MHz.
  5. In the fifth row, the space operation service is allocated on a primary basis in the bands 2025 to 2110 MHz and 2200 to 2285 MHz.
  6. In the sixth row, the earth exploration-satellite service is allocated on a primary basis in the bands 2025 to 2110 MHz and 2200 to 2285 MHz.
  7. In the seventh row, the space research service is allocated on a primary basis in the band 2110-2120 MHz.
  8. In the eighth row, the mobile service is allocated on a secondary basis in the bands 2025 to 2110 MHz and 2200 to 2285 MHz, for use by the Government of Canada.
