TB-7 — Information on the Evaluation of VHF and UHF Terrestrial Cross-Border Frequency Coordination Requests

Figure Descriptions

Figure 1: ACCP co–channel example

This figure shows the curves of a receiver (in blue) and a transmitter (in red) that are co-channel (i.e. ∆ƒ=0) and that have the same bandwidth. Consequently, both curves fully overlap and the majority of the power from the transmitter is received by the victim receiver, as shown by the blue hatched area. In such instances, the OCR is zero.

Figure 2: ACCP off–channel example

This figure shows the curves of a receiver (in blue) and a transmitter (in red) with a frequency separation. Consequently, only a portion of the two curves overlaps; therefore only a portion of the power from the transmitter is received by the victim receiver, as shown by the red hatched area. The rest of the power from the transmitter is rejected by the victim receiver, as shown by the blue hatched area (OCR).
