Frequency Interference Information Checklist

When contacting a utility company to file a complaint regarding a frequency inference, the following information should be provided:

  • When did the interference occur? What time of day did it take place?
  • Is the interference constant or intermittent? If intermittent, at what intervals did it take place?
  • In which frequency band did the interference occur?
  • What equipment was affected by the interference?
  • Is any noise (i.e. arching on the line, noise on a TV or radio, etc.) heard during the interference?
