In October, Martin Klissarov, an engineering student at the Polytechnique Montréal, Université de Montréal, was presented with the William Taylor Scholarship by the Radio Advisory Board of Canada (RABC).
The RABC is an "association of associations" that represents most sectors of the radiocommunications business in Canada, including manufacturers, wireless carriers and service providers, network operators, broadcasters, public safety and national security radio network operators, and consumers. The RABC provides the Government of Canada with broad-based, expert technical advice on the management and use of radio frequency spectrum in Canada.
The William Taylor Scholarship is granted annually to an engineering student who has completed their second year (at a minimum) at an accredited Canadian university and plans on pursuing a career in telecommunications.
