Explanatory Notes — Countries by Geographic Regions

The following geographic regions are used on this site. To obtain a report for a full continent such as "Africa", it is possible to pick the region "Africa (excluding Middle East)" and also select the African countries classified under the heading "Middle East".

It is also possible to select Predefined Country Groups, such as the European Union or APEC. In the case of Canada's trade with the United States, it is possible to select individual U.S. states or groups of states.
