CLAIMS
1. A jobsite communications center comprising:
a communications module including an electrical power source, at least
one speaker and at least one antenna; and
a toolbox-like housing for enclosing said communications module and
having a handle and first and second connection assemblies,
said first connection assembly enabling readily-disconnectable and
reconnectable stacking interconnection of said communications center with tool
boxes;
said second connection assembly enabling readily-disconnectable and
reconnectable mounting of said communication center on a toolbox-carrying cart
in a
manner similar to connection of toolboxes thereto.
2. A jobsite communications center comprising:
a communications module including an electrical power source, at least
one speaker and at least one antenna, said communications module including a
two-way
wireless communicator; and
a housing enclosing said communications module and having a handle,
said antenna being embedded in said handle.
3. A jobsite communications center comprising:
a communications module including an electrical power source, at least
one speaker and at least one antenna, said communications module including a
two-way
wireless communicator; and
a toolbox-like housing for enclosing said communications module and
having a handle, said antenna being embedded in said housing.
4. A jobsite communications center comprising:
a communications module including an electrical power source, at least
one speaker and at least one antenna; and

a housing for enclosing said communications module and having a
handle, and connection elements enabling said housing to be removably attached
to and
transported together with toolboxes.
5. A jobsite communications center according to claim 2 or claim 4 and
wherein said housing comprises a toolbox-like housing.
6. A jobsite communications center according to claim 1 or claim 4 and
wherein said at least one antenna is located in a portion of said housing.
7. A jobsite communications center according to claim 1, claim 3 or claim 4

and wherein at least one of said at least one antenna is located in said
handle.
8. A jobsite communications center according to claim 1 and wherein said
first connection assembly comprises a pair of manually actuable clamps for
selectable
attachment of said housing to a toolbox stacked thereabove.
9. A jobsite communications center according to claim 1 or claim 8 and
wherein said second connection assembly comprises a pair of bracket receiving
side
portions for selectable attachment of said housing to said toolbox-carrying
cart.
10. A jobsite communications center according to claim 9 and wherein said
second connection assembly also comprises a pair of resilient engagement
elements
operative to engage a corresponding pair of brackets forming part of said
housing to
said toolbox-carrying cart.
11. A jobsite communications center according to claim 9 or claim 10 and
wherein said second connection assembly enables said jobsite communications
center to
be mounted onto said toolbox-carrying cart interchangeably with a toolbox.

12. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 9 - 11 and
wherein said second connection assembly enables said jobsite communications
center to
be mounted onto said toolbox-carrying cart in additional to at least one
toolbox.
13. A jobsite communications center according to any of the preceding
claims 1 and 8 - 12 and wherein said first connection assembly comprises a
pair of
connection elements for selectable attachment of said housing to a toolbox
stacked
therebelow, which toolbox has a pair of manually actuable latches for
connecting to said
connection elements.
14. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 13 and
wherein said communications module comprises a radio receiver.
15. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 14 and
wherein said communications module comprises a WI-FI hotspot module.
16. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 15 and
wherein said communications module comprises a wireless router.
17. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 16 and
wherein said communications module comprises a BLUETOOTH® module.
18. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 17 and
wherein said communications module comprises a video communication module.
19. A jobsite communications center according to claim 18 and wherein said
video communication module provides video communication both to and from a
jobsite
to a remote location.
20. A jobsite communications center according to claim 18 and wherein said
video communication module provides audio-video communication both to and from
a
jobsite via at least one smartphone.

21. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 20 and
wherein said communications module includes a projector operative to project
an image
onto a region of a jobsite.
22. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 21 and
wherein said communications module includes a camera for imaging a region of a

jobsite and a wireless communication module for transmitting an image from
said
camera to a remote location.
23. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 22 and
wherein said communications module includes:
an image overlay module for overlaying an image taken at a jobsite with
another image; and
an image comparison module for indicating differences between said
image taken at a jobsite and said another image.
24. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 23 and
wherein said communications module includes a holographic lens module.
25. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 24 and
wherein said communications module comprises a lighting module.
26. A jobsite communications center according to claim 25 and wherein said
lighting module includes at least one of ambient light and directable
lighting.
27. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 26 and
also comprising at least one of an oxygen source, a compressor, a welder and a
dust
extractor.
28. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 27 and
also comprising at least one of a refrigerated compartment and a microwave
oven.

29. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 28 and
also comprising at least one of an intrusion alarm module and a tampering
alarm
module.
30. A jobsite communications center according to claim 29 and wherein said
at least one of an intrusion alarm module and a tampering alarm module has at
least one
of a wireless remote reporting module and a management module.
31. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 30 and
wherein said communications module includes a visually sensible display.
32. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 31 and
wherein said communications module interfaces with a smart phone.
33. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 32 and
wherein said communications module includes a remotely controllable 360 degree

camera.
34. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 33 and
wherein said communications module includes a printer.
35. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 34 and
wherein said communications module includes an augmented-reality module.

wherein said communication module comprises a communicator for enabling it to
communicate with and via the cloud.
52. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 51 and
wherein said housing comprises:
a main shell comprising;
a top shell; and
a bottom shell; and
at least one side panel,
and wherein:
said at least one side panel partially overlaps an area of the main shell;
and

each of said at least one side panel comprises a plate and at least one
bumper,
said plate being relatively rigid and said bumper being relatively
resilient, and
said plate is connected to said main shell in said area of overlap; and
said bumper protrudes beyond one or more planar surfaces of said
housing .
53. A jobsite communications center according to claim 52, wherein at least

one of the bumpers is overmolded onto the corresponding plate.
54. A jobsite communications center according to claim 52 or claim 53,
wherein the housing has six main faces in a substantially cuboid arrangement.
55. A jobsite communications center according to claim 54, wherein said at
least one side panel includes two side panels, the two side panels partially
overlapping
areas of the main shell which are located on opposite main faces of the
housing.
56. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 52 - 54, and

wherein said at least one side panel comprises more than two side panels.
57. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 52 - 56,
wherein the plate is connected to the main shell in the area of overlap by one
or more
screws, each screw passing through a screw hole in the plate.
58. A jobsite communications center according to claim 57, wherein the
screw holes in the plate are each provided with a resilient gasket.
59. A jobsite communications center according to claim 58, wherein the
resilient gaskets are overmolded onto the corresponding plate.

60. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 52 - 59,
wherein each side panel comprises one bumper.
61. A jobsite communications center according any of claims 52 - 59,
wherein at least one of the at least one side panels comprises two or more
separate
bumpers.
62. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 52 - 61,
wherein:
said handle is attached to said main shell, and
said handle comprises a recess adapted to contain said at least one
antenna.
63. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 52 - 62,
wherein said housing comprises an enclosure adapted to contain said at least
one
antenna, the enclosure being located between one of the one or more plates and
the main
shell in the area of overlap.
64. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 52 - 63, and
wherein:
said housing provides accommodation for a sound system including:
at least one sound input means,
up to six speakers, and
means for powering the speakers; and
said housing also includes cover means for each speaker located therein.
65. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 52 - 64,
wherein said housing is integratable into a storage system by means of
adaptation to be
stackable or adaptation to be supported on a storage rack.

66. A jobsite communications center according to claim 65, wherein said
housing comprises one or more latches, one or more latch receiving structures,
and one
or more rack attachment structures.
67. A jobsite communications center according to claim 65 or claim 66,
further comprising a rear attachment point for securing to a rack.
68. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 52 - 67 and
also comprising:
sound system electronics located within said housing; and
WIFI electronics coupled to said sound system electronics and located
within said housing.
69. A jobsite communications center according to claim 68 and also
comprising Internet of Things (IOT) electronics for communication with IOT
components of tools via said WIFI electronics.
70. A jobsite communications center according to claim 68 or claim 69 and
wherein said WIFI electronics enables communication with a monitoring site
remote
from said sound system.
71. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 51 and
wherein:
said housing comprises a sound system including at least six speakers
housed therein;
at least one of the at least six speakers is an active subwoofer; and
at least one of the at least six speakers is a passive subwoofer.
72. A jobsite communications center according to claim 71, wherein said
housing comprises:
a top face,
a bottom face opposite to the top face, and

at least one side face,
said housing having a central axis passing through the centre point of the
top face and the centre point of the bottom face.
73. A jobsite communications center according to claim 72, wherein a
central
axis of the active subwoofer and a central axis of the passive subwoofer are
parallel to
each other.
74. A jobsite communications center according to claim 73, wherein both the

active subwoofer and the passive subwoofer face the bottom surface of the
housing and
the central axis of the active subwoofer and the passive subwoofer are
parallel to the
central axis of the housing.
75. A jobsite communications center according to claim 73 or claim 74,
wherein a speaker cover is attached to the outside of said housing, the
speaker cover
comprising a first convex region facing said housing, the first convex region
having a
central axis collinear with the central axis of the active subwoofer, and a
second convex
region facing said housing, the second convex region having a central axis
collinear
with the central axis of the passive subwoofer, the speaker cover further
comprising at
least one grill region.
76. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 72 - 75,
wherein at least four of the at least six speakers comprise tweeter units.
77. A jobsite communications center according to claim 76, wherein four of
the at least six speakers are tweeter units.
78. A jobsite communications center according to claim 76 or claim 77,
wherein each of the tweeter units are located near the top face of the
housing.
79. A jobsite communications center according to claim 78, wherein each of
the tweeter units are adjacent to the top face of the housing.

80. A jobsite communications center according to claim 79, wherein the
central axis of each tweeter unit is at a diverging angle to the central axis
of the housing.
81. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 72 - 80,
wherein said housing comprises at least one external handle suitable for
carrying the
sound system, the at least one external handle being located on one of the at
least one
side faces of the housing.
82. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 72 - 81,
wherein the housing comprises connection means to permit the housing to be
mounted
onto a rack.
83. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 82,
wherein the housing comprises a portable housing.
84. A jobsite communications center according to any of claims 1 - 83, and
also comprising a cover assembly including a pair of latch assemblies.
85. A jobsite communications center according to claim 84 and wherein each
of said latch assemblies includes:
two slidable latch elements; and
a spring urging said latch elements towards a locked orientation.
86. A jobsite communications center according to claim 84 or claim 85 and
wherein said cover assembly includes a water-resistant seal, said water-
resistant seal
acting as a spring to urge said cover assembly into an open orientation when
it is
unlatched.
87. A toolbox system comprising:
at least one toolbox having a footprint; and

a jobsite communications center having a footprint at least similar to the
footprint of said at least one toolbox, said at least one toolbox and said
jobsite
communication center having mutual attachment elements enabling said jobsite
communications center and said at least one toolbox to be removably attached
to each
other and transported together.
88. A toolbox system comprising:
a toolbox cart;
at least one toolbox having a footprint; and
a jobsite communications center having a footprint at least similar to the
footprint of said at least one toolbox, said toolbox cart, said at least one
toolbox and said
jobsite communication center having mutual attachment elements enabling said
jobsite
communications center and said at least one toolbox to be removably attached
to said
cart and transported together.
89. A toolbox system according to claim 87 or claim 88 and wherein:
said jobsite communications center comprises a housing, the housing
including:
a main shell comprising:
a top shell; and
a bottom shell; and
at least one side panel, the at least one side panel partially overlapping
an area of the main shell;
each of the at least one side panels comprises:
a plate; and
at least one bumper, said plate being relatively rigid and said bumper
being relatively resilient; and
said plate is connected to the main shell in the area of overlap and the
bumper protrudes beyond one or more planar surfaces of the housing.
90. A toolbox system according to claim 89, wherein at least one of the
bumpers is overmolded onto the corresponding plate.

91. A toolbox system according to claim 89 or claim 90, wherein the housing

has six main faces in a substantially cuboid arrangement.
92. A toolbox system according to claim 91, wherein said at least one side
panel includes two side panels, the two side panels partially overlapping
areas of the
main shell which are located on opposite main faces of the housing.
93. A toolbox system according to any of claims 89 - 92, comprising more
than two side panels.
94. A toolbox system according to any of claims 89 - 93, wherein the plate
is
connected to the main shell in the area of overlap by one or more screws, each
screw
passing through a screw hole in the plate.
95. A toolbox system according to claim 94, wherein the screw holes in the
plate are each provided with a resilient gasket.
96. A toolbox system according to claim 95, wherein the resilient gaskets
are
overmolded onto the corresponding plate.
97. A toolbox system according to any of claims 89 - 96, wherein each side
panel comprises one bumper.
98. A toolbox system according any of claims 89 - 96, wherein at least one
of
the at least one side panels comprises two or more separate bumpers.
99. A toolbox system according to any of claims 89 - 98, wherein:
the housing comprises a handle attached to the main shell; and
the handle comprises a hollow adapted to contain at least one antenna.

100. A toolbox system according to any of claims 89 - 99, wherein the
housing comprises an enclosure for at least one antenna, the enclosure being
located in-
between one of the one or more plates and the main shell in the area of
overlap.
101. A toolbox system according to any of claims 89 - 100, wherein:
the housing accommodates a sound system comprising:
at least one sound input means;
up to six speakers; and
means for powering the speakers; and
the housing comprises cover means for each speaker located therein.
102. A toolbox system according to any of claims 89 - 101, wherein the
housing is integratable into a storage system by means of adaptation to be
stackable or
adaptation to be supported on a storage rack.
103. A toolbox system according to claim 102, wherein the housing comprises

one or more latches, one or more latch receiving structures, and one or more
rack
attachment structures.
104. A toolbox system according to claim 102 or claim 103, further
comprising a rear attachment point for securing to a rack.
105. A toolbox system according to any of claims 89 - 104 and also
comprising:
sound system electronics located within said housing; and
WIFI electronics coupled to said sound system electronics and located
within said housing.
106. A toolbox system according to claim 105 and also comprising Internet
Of
Things (IOT) electronics for communication with IOT components of tools via
said
WIFI electronics.

107. A toolbox system according to claim 105 or claim 106 and wherein said
WIFI electronics enables communication with a monitoring site remote from said
sound
system.
108. A toolbox system according to any of claims 89 - 107 and wherein:
said housing comprises a sound system including at least six speakers
housed therein;
at least one of the at least six speakers is an active subwoofer; and
at least one of the at least six speakers is a passive subwoofer.
109. A toolbox system according to claim 108, wherein said housing
comprises:
a top face,
a bottom face opposite to the top face, and
at least one side face,
said housing having a central axis passing through the centre point of the
top face and the centre point of the bottom face.
110. A toolbox system according to claim 109, wherein a central axis of the

active subwoofer and a central axis of the passive subwoofer are parallel to
each other.
111. A toolbox system according to claim 110, wherein both the active
subwoofer and the passive subwoofer face the bottom surface of the housing and
the
central axis of the active subwoofer and the passive subwoofer are parallel to
the central
axis of the housing.
112. A toolbox system according to claim 110 or claim 111, wherein a
speaker
cover is attached to the outside of the housing, the speaker cover comprising
a first
convex region facing the housing, the first convex region having a central
axis collinear
with the central axis of the active subwoofer, and a second convex region
facing the
housing, the second convex region having a central axis collinear with the
central axis
of the passive subwoofer, the speaker cover further comprising at least one
grill region.

113. A toolbox system according to any of claims 109 - 112, wherein at
least
four of the at least six speakers comprise tweeter units.
114. A toolbox system according to claim 113, comprising four tweeter
units.
115. A toolbox system according to claim 113, wherein each of the tweeter
units are located near the top face of the housing.
116. A toolbox system according to claim 115, wherein each of the tweeter
units are adjacent to the top face of the housing.
117. A toolbox system according to claim 116, wherein the central axis of
each tweeter unit is at a diverging angle to the central axis of the housing.
118. A toolbox system according to any of claims 109 - 117, wherein the
housing comprises at least one external handle suitable for carrying the sound
system,
the at least one external handle being located on one of the at least one side
faces of the
housing .
119. A toolbox system according to any of claims 109 - 118, wherein the
housing comprises connection means to permit the housing to be mounted onto a
rack.
120. A toolbox system according to any of claims 89 - 119, wherein the
housing comprises a portable housing.
121. A toolbox system according to any of claims 87 - 120, wherein said
jobsite communications center comprises a cover assembly including a pair of
latch
assemblies.
122. A toolbox system according to claim 121 and wherein each of said latch

assemblies includes:

two slidable latch elements; and
a spring urging said latch elements towards a locked orientation.

toolbox system according to claim 121 or claim 122 and wherein said
cover assembly includes a water-resistant seal, said water-resistant seal
acting as a
spring to urge said cover assembly into an open orientation when it is
unlatched.
