An authorized service provider (ASP) is an organization recognized by Measurement Canada to inspect and certify measuring devices. All ASPs must complete training and meet strict criteria before they can do so.
Some measuring devices must be inspected at a pre-determined frequency. Find out if your measuring device is subject to this requirement and when the next inspection is due by answering the questions below.
Not all device types apply to all points of service listed. The points of service mentioned in this listing under each authorized service provider represent the physical location (province of the recognized technicians employed by the authorized service provider). These recognized technicians may examine devices at any location in Canada, unless otherwise specified, and are not limited to the provinces indicated in the listing.
