Information Session
Registration deadline May 26, 2019

On June 17, 2019, Canada will accede to the Singapore Treaty, the Madrid Protocol and the Nice Agreement, and significantly modernize its Trademarks regime. The Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) invites you to participate in an information session on the changes to the Trademarks e-services as well as legislative changes to the Canadian Trademarks Database.

As part of the webinar session that will take place on May 28, 2019, CIPO will provide a demonstration on the changes to two of the existing e-services with respect to filing a new trademark application (Trademark E-Filing) and amending an existing application (Trademark E-Amend). In addition, a demo of the legislative changes impacting the Canadian Trademarks Database will be presented. You will also have the opportunity to provide feedback at the end of the session.

Should you wish to participate, please register to reserve your spot. Registration closes at 5 p.m. on May 26th.

We kindly ask that you share the event with colleagues who may be interested in attending. Thank you for your continued involvement as we move forward with this initiative.
