Join us on January 20, 2022 at 1pm (EST) as we continue the monthly IP Talks series brought to you by the IP Village*. In this fifth 1-hour webinar you will learn about the various program and procedures that can be used to defend your IP rights.

The first steps: How to prepare to enforce your IP rights (CIPO – 10 minutes)

  • Ways to monitor your IP rights
  • What to do if you suspect infringement

In practice: Ways to enforce your IP rights (IPIC – 50 minutes)

  • When you are the target of a alleged infringement claim: 10 minutes
  • Stopping counterfeits (CBSA + a lawyer): 10 minutes
  • Patent / Trademark Opposition board (CIPO) : 10 minutes
  • Alternative dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration (IPIC): 10 minutes
  • Litigation (IPIC): 10 minutes
