From: Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada

As part of the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy (WES), the Government is making funding available directly to women entrepreneurs through the Women Entrepreneurship Fund. This Fund aims to provide support to women to grow their businesses and reach new  markets abroad. The Fund is a $30 million investment providing up to $100,000 in non-repayable contribution funding for 12 months.

Learn more about the hundreds of successful applicants across Canada, receiving up to $100,000 each to grow their businesses and reach new markets.

Due to the strong demand for Women Entrepreneurship Fund (WEF) support and the exceptional quality of applications received from across Canada, the Government of Canada has made an additional $10-million investment to fund approximately 100 more WEF applicants, $2.5 million of which will go to Indigenous women entrepreneurs.

If you have already submitted a WEF application, you do not need to take any further action. New and/or amended applications are no longer being accepted.

Departmental officials will contact all successful applicants before the end of the summer.
