Certification Bodies will evaluate a businesses implementation of the security controls, using the audit criteria.

How to become a Certification Body

To become a CB, you must be accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC). This accreditation proves that your business is competent, credible and reliable.

Accreditations are based on international standards, guides and requirements that meet specific Canadian needs.

Requirements of accreditation vary depending on the scope of work for which the accreditation is being pursued.
