The Competition Bureau today published its 2014-2015 Annual Plan: Promoting Compliance for the Benefit of Canadian Consumers, which sets out the Bureau’s priorities for the coming year as it continues its efforts to ensure that Canadians benefit from a competitive and innovative marketplace.
As part of the Bureau’s commitment to applying Canada's competition laws in a transparent and predictable manner, the 2014-2015 Annual Plan outlines how the Bureau will promote compliance with the legislation it oversees through a balanced approach involving enforcement, advocacy and outreach.
- The 2014-2015 Annual Plan, the first such plan published by the Bureau, communicates the Bureau’s priorities and objectives for the coming year to Canadian consumers and its stakeholders in the business and legal communities.
- The new publication supports the Bureau’s Action Plan on Transparency, which promotes the development of a more efficient and responsive agency, while providing Canadians with more opportunities to learn about the Bureau’s work.
