Computers for Schools

Computers for Schools (CFS) refurbishes donated computers and distributes them to schools, libraries, not-for-profit organizations and Aboriginal communities across Canada. Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada leads this program for the federal government, working with provincial and territorial governments, not-for profit organizations as well as the private and volunteer sectors.

In Digital Canada 150, the Government's plan to guide Canada's digital future, the Government committed to ensuring that students have easy access to the digital tools they need to learn the skills for tomorrow. CFS is a key initiative that helps the Government deliver on this commitment.
