Combatting counterfeit products (intellectual property rights)

As a trademark and/or copyright owner, did you know that you can submit a Request for Assistance application to the Canada Border Services Agency's (CBSA) intellectual property rights program?
The Agency has established a process that allows intellectual property rights holders to file a request asking for the CBSA to temporarily detain suspected counterfeit goods encountered at the border while rights holders seek legal redress.
