Financial institution users

1. How do I create my GCKey account?

  • Contact the User Administrator within your financial institution who will create your account and invite you to create a GCKey account in order to access the CSBFP/CALA Online Loan Registration Application.
  • You will receive an email invitation with a link to create your GCKey account. You will need to activate your account within 7 calendar days before the link expires.
  • Click on the link named "HERE". This will bring you to the page "Choose a secure Sign-In Method".
  • Click on the second option "Continue to GCKey".
  • Sign up for a GCKey user Username and Password.  
  • Follow the instructions to complete the creation of your GCKey account and your Application profile.    
  • Once completed, you will be redirected to the CSBFP/CALA Online Loan Registration Application.

2. How do I log into my GCKey account?

  • Go to the "Choose a secure Sign-In Method" page.
  • Click on the "Continue to GCKey" button.
  • Enter the Username and Password you created when you created your account.
  • Click on "Sign In" button.

3. What do I do if I forget my Username?

  • If you have forgotten your Username, you will have to sign up for a new GCKey.   Your User Administrator will have to invite you once again in order to access the CSBFP/CALA Online Loan Registration Application.

4. What do I do if I forget my password?

  • Go to the "Choose a secure Sign-In Method" page.
  • Click on the "Continue to GCKey" button.
  • Click on "Forgot your password".
  • Enter your Username and answer the Password Recovery Questions you previously set up while registering for your GCKey.
  • If you have forgotten answers to the Password Recovery Questions, you will have to sign up for a new GCKey. A User Administrator will have to invite you once again in order to access the CSBFP/CALA Online Loan Registration.

5. Who do I contact if I don't have the proper access rights?

  • Contact your User Administrator.

6. Who do I contact if I have a problem with the application?

  • After you have logged into the application, click the "Contact Us" link in the dashboard. You will find a telephone number and an email address to reach the CSBFP or the CALA representatives.

User administrator

1. How do I create my GCKey account?

  • Contact the CSBFP or the CALA representative who will create your account and invite you to enroll for an account in the CSBFP/CALA Online Loan Registration Application through GCKey.
  • You will receive an email invitation with a link for creating your account.  You will need to activate your account within 7 calendar days or the link will expire.
  • Click on the link named "HERE".
  • This will bring you to the page "Choose a secure Sign-In Method", click on the second option "Continue to GCKey".
  • Sign up for a GCKey Username and Password.
  • Follow the instructions to create your GCKey account and your Application profile.

2. What are my roles as a User Administrator?

  • You can add a new user and give them access rights.
  • You can modify a user's account.
  • You can deactivate or activate a user's account.
  • You can invite a user whose invitation link has expired or failed.
  • You can invite a user who forgot their Username and the answers to the password recovery questions.

3. How do I add a new user and give them access rights?

  • You must sign in to your account by going to the "Choose a secure Sign-In Method" page.
  • Click on the "Continue to GCKey" button.
  • Log in with your Username and Password.
  • Click on "User Administration" in the CSBFP/CALA Online Loan Registration Application.
  • Click on "Add New User" and fill in all of the mandatory fields. Then click on "Save".
  • The new user will receive an invitation with a link to create a GCKey account and enroll with the CSBFP/CALA Application.  The new user will have 7 calendar days to create their account.

4. How do I modify an existing user's account?

  • You must sign in to your account by going to the "Choose a secure Sign-In Method" page.
  • Click on the "Continue to GCKey" button.
  • Log in with your Username and Password.
  • Click on "User Administration" in the CSBFP/CALA Online Loan Registration Application.
  • Find the user in the list whose account you want to modify.
  • Click on the Modify symbol

  • Make the necessary changes in the fields. Then click on Save.

5. What do I do if a user has access to the CSBFP application and would also need access to the CALA application, or vice versa?

  • You must sign in to your account by going to the "Choose a secure Sign-In Method" page.
  • Click on the "Continue to GCKey" button.
  • Log in with your Username and Password.
  • Click on "User Administration" in the CSBFP/CALA Online Loan Registration Application.
  • Find the user in the list whose account you want to modify.
  • Click on the Modify symbol
    Modify
    in the Action column.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the App(s) option, click on the checkbox of the application you wish to activate. Then click on Save.

6. How do I deactivate or activate a user's account ?

Deactivate

  • You must sign in to your account by by going to the "Choose a secure Sign-In Method" page.
  • Click on the "Continue to GCKey" button.
  • Log in with your Username and Password.
  • Click on "User Administration" in the CSBFP/CALA Online Loan Registration Application.
  • In the dropdown list, choose "All" as the User Status.
  • Find the user in the list whose account you want to deactivate.
  • Click on "x" in Action column and click on "Yes" to the question.
  • The user's account will be deactivated.

Activate

  • Follow the first four steps above.
  • Find the user in the list whose account you want to activate.
  • Click on the checkmark in the Action column.
  • The user's account will be activated.

7. How do I invite a user whose invitation link has expired or who has forgotten their username and/or the answers to their password recovery questions?

  • You must sign in to your account by going to the "Choose a secure Sign-In Method" page.
  • Click on the "Continue to GCKey" button.
  • Log in with your Username and Password.
  • Click on "User Administration" in the CSBFP/CALA Online Loan Registration Application.
  • Find the user in the list whose account you want to modify.
  • Click on the "+" in the Action column and answer "Yes" to the question.
  • Scroll down on the page and click on "Invite". You cannot make any changes to the user's account.
  • The user will receive an invitation with a link to activate their account. The user will have 7 calendar days to activate their account before the link expires.
