Today, we are witnessing an increase in non-traditional barriers to trade. These encompass the entire range of domestic regulatory policies that often favour established businesses by preventing the arrival of new competitors in regulated markets. The World Trade Organization, concerned about the extent of this phenomenon, has decided to establish a working group to examine the necessity of adding or changing existing rules. This document aims to examine the possible research directions for this group.
