This semi-annual publication provides information on the most frequently asked questions pertaining to small businesses in Canada. Several sections have been updated including data on the number of businesses in Canada, the number of people that work for small business, job creation, earnings of small business employees, the contribution of small businesses to Canada's gross domestic product, as well as the number of self-employed individuals, the number of hours they work and their contribution to job creation.
