This report presents data on the cost of regulatory compliance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canada stemming from federal, provincial and municipal regulations. The data were collected from 10,477 respondents through the 2011 Survey of Regulatory Compliance Costs (SRCC) undertaken by Statistics Canada and Industry Canada.
