Program partners
The Prime Minister's Awards for Teaching Excellence and for Teaching Excellence in STEM are administered by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada on behalf of the Prime Minister in partnership with Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.
The Prime Minister's Awards for Teaching Excellence is grateful to the RBC Foundation for its financial support. The RBC Foundation's strong commitment to education enables the program to honour outstanding teachers, to share their innovative teaching practices, and in this way, benefit students across the country with their models of excellence.
Selection committee
The Prime Minister's Awards for Teaching Excellence would also like to thank the numerous organizations who have taken part in the award selection process. These include teachers' federations, parent-teacher associations, post-secondary institutions, provincial and territorial education ministries, business organizations and student groups. The program could not function without the valued participation of volunteers from these organizations.
