Gary Case shows his students the working world of science while they are still in class at Prince of Wales Collegiate in St. John's, Newfoundland. The Co-operative Science Education program he established at the school lets science students complete 200 hours of work in a professional scientific environment with organizations such as Memorial University and Newfoundland Telephone. In addition to the work experience, students are coached in interview skills and résumé-building techniques for landing science-related jobs after they are finished school.
