Grades/Subjects Taught: Micro-computer technician, operating systems, basic trouble shooting, networking, physics, robotics, computer applications, electronics, computer graphics and animation, computer science

  • Balance technology training by integrating language, communication, creativity and teamwork skills into course work to produce well-rounded students.

Developed a comprehensive technology plan and program for school:

  • courses designed to ensure students develop leadership abilities, use and improve their communication and problem-solving skills.

Students won six medals at 1999 Manitoba Robotics games.

Technology skills have helped students obtain higher grades in other courses.

Many students go on to post-secondary studies, some receiving scholarships to do so.

Technology courses have helped increase school enrolment. Of 198 Grade 9 students entering the school in 1999, more than 160 registered in technology studies.
