Created "Fast Track," a computer program designed to record and compile results during track meets. This program, currently used at the provincial level, eliminates the enormous amount of paperwork involved in track meets, and facilitates creation of all-star teams.
Spends hundreds of hours coaching senior boys volleyball, practising and playing six days a week. Teams reached provincial-level competitions eight years running, a record for the province. Many athletes go on to compete at university and senior provincial level.
Provides adapted assignments, and noon and after-school help for weaker math students. Given positive learning experiences, the students reciprocate with excellent effort and success.
Created an innovative set of vocabulary and conversation sheets on CD that gives categorized listing of French phrases for use with French program.
Chaired school division's technology committee, and created networked school computer system. Interviewed, selected and paid several students to be computer lab assistants, giving them interview and job experience.
