Teaching approach

For Mrs. Nadeau-Tremblay, it's all about the success of her students. She evaluates their needs and determines the best teaching methods and activities for her class.

Outstanding achievements:

  • Innovative projects created for the students—Projet Lecture Jeunesse: a literary animation service for kids. Mrs. Nadeau-Tremblay's students had to read and understand literary works and prepare an animation for younger kids http://youtu.be/nNkLpnRTw0I;
  • Many projects created by Mrs. Nadeau-Tremblay's students have been honoured at the local, regional and provincial level (e.g. the Québec Entrepreneurship Contest—Project 12-13 Books-technology);
  • Mrs. Nadeau-Tremblay has given presentations at Québec and Canadian symposiums and conventions such as the Association canadienne d'éducation de langue française (l'ACELF), the Association québécoise des enseignantes et enseignants du primaire (l'AQEP), the Réseau québécois des écoles entrepreneuriales et environnementales (RQÉE), etc.

Rave reviews

Mrs. Nadeau-Tremblay's ability to combine reading—a cornerstone of our youth's personal and academic success—with the development of technological skills—a must in today's digital world—shows her commitment to making her students responsible and informed citizens.

Collaborator

My kids really love Mrs. Nadeau-Tremblay for her sense of initiative, her listening skills, her creativity and her determination. When she starts a project, she gets it gone right and makes sure that all the kids in the class pitch in to the best of their abilities.
